The e-sports highlight of summer 2008 had to be Cologne. Thousands of fans descended on Expo XXI for the ESL Pro Series Finals XII. Among several big draws were XlorD, the Warcraft 3 star, and of course Alternate’s Counter-Strike 1.6 and CS: Source teams. Consequently, the new German Warcraft 3 and CS: Source champions are from Team Alternate.

XlorD and the CS: Source team made short work of their respective opponents. Daniel Spenst won every map in the tournament, setting course for a glorious future in the process. New team-managers amskN and eSca are making sure Alternate gets the support they need.
