Doing battle in Dallas

On August 29th 2007, Moyes took his crack RTS squad to the Dallas stop of the CPL World Tour, to play World in Conflict for a cash prize of $9000. Moyes, Zaccubus, Mr Dogbert, Low-Life and PuReBall crammed their luggage with everything a pro gamer needs, from laptops and socks to books on minerals and vitamins, and set off for Gatwick Airport.

As it happened, Low-Life couldn't have been subjected to more searches had the name ‘Low-Life' been printed on his passport. Eventually however, the authorities were forced to concede that his socks presented no danger to other travellers and the team's plane took off with the whole team aboard.

On the evening of their arrival at the Dallas Hilton, Moyes gave the team a warning: anything from the mini-bar would go on his credit card. Mindful of their leader's concerns, the squad feasted instead upon the flow of fresh photons emanating from their laptops' LCD displays before going to bed for the first time ever.

The following morning, the team ventured outside into something none of them had experienced before – sunshine. It was a risk they had to take; Mr Dogbert had yet to be registered for the forthcoming tournament. Once at the venue, they encountered Italian arch-rivals, Inferno e-Sports, the only other European team in the tournament. Later, as the team set up their rigs, news reached them of Inferno's early elimination. This caused some nervousness in the ranks but Zaccubus confidently predicted the team's imminent success and the squad prepared for the next day's challenge.

Would Zaccubus be proved right? What was PuReBall really writing to his girlfriend? How many vitamins was Low-Life getting from those fries? Who are Frag Dominant? What was the final score? Find out the answers to all these questions.
