Please tell us about the equipment you use, including discussing the types of component and a short statement on why you use them.
The most important tool for a gamer is his or her system. I’m no different, I always go for the best. Brands such as Intel, Corsair and Creative are amongst the brands that make up my system.
I use a Logitech G5 along with a Qpad UC, a good combination for accuracy. I have a Creative Fatality headset plugged into a Creative Xmod, Creative being the best in its class for sound quality.
How do you think the equipment you use helps you play better?
It’s important to use top quality equipment when competing at the highest level, a flawless system is a must for professional players.
How'd you join Team Dignitas?
I had played against the original Dignitas players such as Mick. I was noticed as a good sniper, Dignitas were looking for someone to fill their sniper spot, I seemed to be a good candidate.
What are your favourite games?
Call of Duty 2, Pro Evolution Soccer 6.
What's your biggest success in pro gaming?
My first major LAN victory for Dignitas, Crossfire 1. I got ‘Most valued player’ for the tournament, we beat an undefeated LAN side and went on to win the tournament.
How long had you been playing before you thought about becoming a pro?
My first online game was seven years ago, since that time I always had the desire to play at the very top level, it’s only recently come about where I’ve had the opportunity to do so.
How did you get into professional gaming?
Joining Team-Dignitas must of been the first big step. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to attend more LANs, be more involved in media and represent the UK in gaming.
Was it an easy decision to become a pro gamer?
I suppose not, it’s a big toss-up between real-life commitments and being the best. It’s hard to do both. In the end, I did more of what I enjoy, gaming.
Who's your toughest opponent?
At present I would say tek-9, they have a very strong line-up and always seem to get in our way... one way or another.
What's your favourite gadget?
iPod.

What do you think you'd be doing if you weren't in Team Dignitas?
Playing football.
