Mousesports’ Counter-Strike 1.6 team came in fourth place at this year’s Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) Grand Finals. The ESWC is a prestigious, invitational competition featuring the world’s best. Fourth place is a respectable finish.
Mousesports led the first group stage and shared first place with fnatic in the second group stage. In the quarter-finals they narrowly beat SK Gaming 2-1 but then went on to lose against MYM, who eventually won the tournament. In the battle for third place, fortune was nowhere to be found and they lost the re-match against fnatic.
