FIFA may be a soccer game but it's always had a large amount of weapons (tricks) that players can use to destroy their opponents. "Jevrej" reveals all…
1. "Off the Ball"
The universal number one weapon ever has to be "Off the Ball" in FIFA 2005. A player could simply do a perfect rocket pass from the defence to the wing forward and then cross from the wing to score a guaranteed header. This was the atomic bomb of FIFA.
2. "Long Cross"
The second weapon comes from the same game, FIFA 2005. After the ban of "Off the Ball", the whole community worked hard to find a replacement tactic. The result was "Long Cross". While not as dominant as OTB, this allowed players who perfected the cross to send the ball almost half the field into the penalty box and score a guaranteed header.

3. "Korean Lob"
At number three is the "Korean Lob" from FIFA 2004. Once a player came to the edge of the goal line and executed the right crossing power and direction the opponent's goalie would miss the ball every time and allow the striker to score.

4. "Long Ball 2007"
The fourth weapon has to be FIFA 2007's "Long Ball". Charging up the crossing power to 100% while having the ball at goalie's feet and booting the ball at the right time will make the striker at the other side of the field win the ball and have a one versus one situation with the goalie.
5. "Long Shot"
The fifth weapon could have made a place higher or two but the game which it was in wasn't involved in the professional gaming era and that game is FIFA 2002 World Cup. Running down with a superb shooting player and shooting from almost half the field while curving the shot would guarantee a goal every time. It actually made FIFA very boring because with the game's physics it was difficult to prevent an opponent from shooting every single time.
So, as we can see, the weapons come and go each year in the biggest eSports community in the world. Every year the pros become rookies again as the new FIFA is released. But this doesn't stop them from winning. FIFA pro gamers may wish to have a game engine as stable as Counter-Strike but they still come back each and every year. See you then with more weapons!
